Day 1: A Warm greeting to Kathmandu
After arrival at Kathmandu’s Tribhuwan Airport, our crew will welcome you with classical garlands and Khada. We then take you to your accommodation for a concise journey preface.
Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Tham Danda
Early on the second day, your adventure commences with a scenic drive along the BP Highway. Witness serene views of meandering rivers, rice terraces, and rural villages as you go to Thame Danda. The 13 to 14-hour drive covers 366.9km, offering an off-road experience that immerses you in the Himalayas’ natural beauty and cultural richness.
Day 3: Trek from Tham Danda to Phakding
Your trekking adventure will begin in Thame Danda and end in Phakding. Travel through Paiya, Surke, Chaurikharka, and Chheplung, immersing in panoramic views, ancient traces of civilization, and century-old Buddhist Chorten. A pleasant overnight stay at Phakding’s tea house awaits after the 7 to 8-hour journey, which covers 22km.
Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Proceed to Namche Bazaar, enter Sagarmatha National Park, and then, via the Tenzing Hillary Bridge, cross the Dudhkoshi River. As you arrive at the culturally rich Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar, enjoy the astounding views of the encompassing lush forests. Enjoy a 12-kilometer walk for five to six hours, including a pause at a local tea house.
Day 5: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar
Spend a day delving into the Everest View Hotel and Khumjung town as you acclimate. Enjoy the rich cultural heritage of the villages of Khumjung and Khunde while experiencing the Khumbu region’s natural beauty and priceless cultural antiquities.
Day 6: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Pursue your trip to Tengboche after acclimatizing through the Namche Bazaar, the Dudh Koshi River, and the alpine trees. Reach Tengboche Monastery, where the peaceful monastic neighborhood welcomes you amidst thrilling views. The 12-kilometer trek requires five to six hours to finish.
Day 7: Tengboche to Dingboche
Start early and visit Tengboche Monastery before beginning your trek to Dingboche. Pass through lush forests, Imja Khola, Milingo, Ama Dablam Peak, and Somare. Enjoy alluring alpine landscapes and mountain views during the 5-6 hour journey covering 12.5 km.
Day 8: Acclimatization Day at Dingboche
For magnificent views of Mount Makalu, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, Kangtega, and Thamserku, you can trek to Nangkartshang Peak. This challenging and rewarding 2-hour trek prepares you for the next step towards the Everest base camp trek by drive.
Day 9: Dingboche to Lobuche

Day 10: Lobuche to Gorakshep & Everest Base Camp Trek by Drive

Experience the breathtaking sunrise across Mount Everest, Mount Pumori, Lingtren, Khumbutse, Changtse, and Nuptse. After hiking back to Gorakshep, continue traveling to Pheriche for another 6 to 7 hours.
Day 12: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Embark on the return journey, trekking back to Namche Bazaar from Pheriche. Enjoy a 7 to 8-hour trek, relishing the memories of your Everest base camp trek by drive adventure.
Day 13: Namche Bazaar to Chaurikharka
